Overview
The LANDTEK HM6561 Leeb hardness tester is a portable hardness testing instrument suitable for Hardness measurement of a variety of metal materials. It is compact and easy to use in a small space. It can be used to select the test material and direction through the keyboard to realize the conversion between six Hardness standards.

Principle
The hardness gauge adopts the principle of Richter hardness testing, through the Impact device (D type) to hit the surface of the material to be tested, and the ratio of the rebound speed and the impact speed of the measurement Impact body at 1mm from the surface of the sample is calculated. Richter Hardness value, and according to the preset material and direction parameters, the results can be converted into Miscellaneous Hardness standard.
Applications
Installed machinery or long-term assembly parts, mold cavities, heavy workpieces, Pressure Vessels, turbo-generator sets and their equipment failure analysis, test space is very small workpieces, bearings and other parts, requiring formal original records of test results, material classification in metal material warehouses, rapid inspection of multiple measurement parts of large workpieces
Steps
1. Select the corresponding material type and test direction through the keyboard according to the material under test.
2. Press the Impact device vertically on the surface of the workpiece to be tested.
3. Press the release button on the Impact device to test.
4. Read the Hardness value displayed on the display.
5. You can view historical data, delete errors, or store data through the function keys.
6. The stored data can be transferred to the computer via USB, RS-232 or Bluetooth interfaces.
Notice
Make sure that the impact device is clean before testing, and the tested surface should be flat, smooth, and free of dirt.
* Impact devices must be perpendicular to the tested surface and pressed tightly during testing.
* Operating temperature of the instrument is -10~ + 50 ℃, humidity ≤ 90%, storage temperature is -30~ + 60 ℃.
Pay attention to the battery level, and replace the battery promptly when a low voltage indicator appears.
* To ensure measurement accuracy, it is recommended to calibrate the instrument regularly.
* Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments.
* Do not use in flammable and explosive environments.
* Impact device is a precision part, please avoid violent impact or fall.
