Overview
The Portable T-4 Cup is a widely used portable Viscometer for viscosity measurement of Coatings and related products. It is designed to be simple and durable, with standard internal dimensions, U-shaped stainless steel handle, copper cup body and polished stainless steel nozzle.

Principle
This product is a flow cup Viscometer, which characterizes the viscosity of a fluid by measuring the time it takes for a volume (100ml) of fluid to completely flow out of a standard flow hole (diameter 4mm) under gravity. The longer the outflow time, the higher the viscosity is usually indicated.

Steps
1. Make sure the viscosity cup is clean and drying.
2. Plug the flow hole with your finger and pour the sample to be tested into the cup until it is full.
3. Remove your finger and start the Timer at the same time, recording the time from the start of the sample flowing out of the flow hole to the first interruption of the flow wire (ie, the flow time).
4. According to the outflow time control standard conversion table or formula, the viscosity value (cSt) of the sample is obtained.
Notice
• Before use, make sure that the viscosity cup and flow hole are clean, drying and free of residue.
• Keep the viscosity cup level during testing and ensure that the sample temperature is stable.
• The outflow time should be controlled within the specification range (≤ 150 seconds), beyond the range may affect the measurement accuracy.
• Operate and calculate results according to the requirements of standard GB/T 1723.
• After use, it should be cleaned and properly stored.
