PUSHEN QTG 50-200um Frame Applicator is designed for paints, binders and similar products with uniform Spreader on flat substrates. This film applicator is suitable for low viscosity aqueous, acidic and alkaline products and can be used with Automatic Film Applicators.

Principle

The Applicator is placed on a fixed template and the Spreader specimen is slid at a uniform speed to form a wet-film of a specified thickness.

Applications

Spreader used for the specified thickness of wet-film, sample hiding power, color or preparatory sample determination.

Steps

1. Place the sample on the platform and fix it; 2. Select the Applicator as needed and place it on the short side of the sample; 3. Pour about 5ml of sample in front of the Applicator; 4. Press both ends with your finger and slide the Spreader at a uniform speed of 150mm/s; 5. Wash and dry with solvent after use and apply lubricating oil.
