Overview
YONGLIDA SBDY-II digital whiteness meter is mainly suitable for whiteness measurement of non-colored objects with flat surface or powder, which can accurately obtain the whiteness value consistent with the visual Sensitivity. For objects treated by Fluorescent Whitening Agent, Basis Weight can reflect the whiteness value after fluorescent whitening, and the Opacity of paper can be accurately measured.
Features
1. Measurement range, up to 0~ 199.9%, resolution 0.1
2. Repeatability is good, ≤ 0.3
3. Small zero drift, High Stability
4. Adopt R457 blue light whiteness formula, consistent with visual Sensitivity
5. Voltage fluctuation Stability 0.1, adaptability
Principle
The instrument obtains a whiteness value consistent with visual perception by measuring the reflectance of non-colored flat objects or powders to blue light (R457 wavelength). For samples treated with Fluorescent Whitening Agent, the fluorescent whitening effect can be detected by Basis Weight.
Applications
Spinning & weaving printing and dyeing, paints, chemical building materials, paper plates, plastic products, white cement, ceramics, porcelain clay, tale powder, starch, flour, salt, detergent, cosmetics
Standards
R457 Blu-ray whiteness standard
Steps
1. Connect 220V +/- 20% power supply
2. Place the sample at a measurement aperture of φ 30mm
3. Instrument automatic measurement and display whiteness value
4. Read measurement results in the range of 0~ 199.9%
Notice
• Only suitable for flat objects or powders with non-colored surfaces
• Power supply voltage within 220V +/- 20%
• During measurement, the sample should be completely covered with a measurement aperture of φ 30mm
• Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments
Periodically calibrated to ensure measurement accuracy
