Overview
STDA1 calibrated coated metal sheet is a Defelsko standard board for verifying the accuracy of film thickness gauges. The product consists of a nonmagnetic aluminum substrate coated with epoxy-based Resin coating. Its certified measurement values can be traced back to national measurement agencies. It is an important tool for meeting ISO standards and internal quality control requirements. Precision verification of thickness gauges at the test site.
Features
Used to verify the accuracy and operation of any Type 1 (mechanical) and Type 2 (electronic) magnetic, eddy current or ultrasonic film thickness gauge.

3. The standard consists of 4 plates installed in a protective gluing agent.
4. Serialized individually, traceable to NIST or PTB, and containing calibrated certificates.
5. Metric and imperial units are both certified and marked.

Principle
Measurement accuracy and operation of the thickness gauge are verified by comparing the measurement reading of the film thickness gauge with the certified, traceable nominal Film thickness value on the standard board.

Steps
1. Place the film thickness gauge probe in the designated measurement area of the standard plate.
2. Read the measurement value displayed by the thickness gauge.
3. Compare the measurement value with the certified Film thickness value of the corresponding area on the standard board.
4. According to the comparison results, determine whether the accuracy of the thickness gauge meets the requirements.

* Please keep the calibrated certificate properly for traceability.
* When using, avoid scratching or contaminating the coating surface of the standard board.
Make sure that the thickness gauge probe is in vertical and stable contact with the surface of the standard plate.
* This standard board is suitable for compatible models: PosiTector6000 N, NS, NRS, FN, FNS, FNRS, FNDS series.
The standard plate contains four film thickness blocks, and the specific film thickness and error range are: block 1 (0μm), block 2 (75μm/3mils, error +/- 0.43μm/+/- 0.017mils), block 3 (250μm/10mils, error +/- 0.43μm/+/- 0.017mils), block 4 (1500μm/60mils, error +/- 0.43μm/+/- 0.017mils).
