CTM-208 Electrolytic Thickness Gauge is a professional measurement device of COATTEST INSTRUMENT brand, suitable for single platings or composite multi-platings thickness measurement, Measurement range is 0.1~ 35 μm, with high resolution 0.01 μm and point array LCD screen.

Principle
The Electrolytic Thickness Gauge measurement platings thickness by electrolysis method, using the principle of electrochemistry to dissolve platings under specific conditions, calculating the thickness value according to current or time changes, to achieve accurate measurement.

Steps
1. Connect the power supply: use AC 220V +/- 10%, 50/60Hz power supply.
2. Select the plating type: Select the corresponding plating type through 4 shortcut buttons.
3. Sample placement: Use a standard test stand or optional probe/wire kit to place the workpiece.
4. Start measurement: Start the device for thickness measurement.
5. Data processing: The external printer can automatically print the statistical report.
Notice
• The thickness gauge has been adjusted after leaving the factory. If you need a platings Calibration plate (US China), you need to buy it separately and use a standard test rack for testing.
• There is an additional charge for upgrading the standard test rack to a wire-specific test rack, and the software function also needs to be upgraded to open the wire function.
• Ensure that the power supply meets the AC 220V +/- 10%, 50/60Hz requirements, Power is 30W.
• When measuring, pay attention to choose the appropriate probe aperture or wire kit to adapt to different size workpieces.
