Overview
The LENETA T12M hiding power (metal) panel is a metal plate specially designed for Coating hiding power testing. Its size is 132x279mm. The left half of the panel is black and the right half is white, forming a black and white test area in half, conforming to ASTM D 6441 standard.

Principle
The metal panel provides a standardized test background for the Coating through its black and white base color. During the test, the Coating Spreader is placed on the panel to evaluate the hiding power performance of the Coating by observing its ability to cover the black and white base color.

Steps
1. Prepare Coating and T12M hiding power metal panel to be tested.
2. Spreader or scrape evenly on the black and white area of the panel.
3. After Coating drying, observe the covering of black and white base color by Coating.
4. Evaluate the hiding power level of the Coating according to the standard.
Notice
• Make sure the surface of the panel is clean, free of oil or scratches before use.
• Spreader Coating should ensure uniform Film thickness to obtain accurate test results.
• After the test, the panel should be cleaned in time and stored properly.
