Overview
The GZY-II Linear Drying time Recorder is a professional testing equipment of the PUSHEN brand, mainly used to test the drying and curing time of coatings and paints. The instrument is equipped with six strokes with hemispherical contact points, which are installed on three independent slides. Each slide can set the running time individually, which is convenient for testing different samples at the same time.

Principle
The device is based on the characteristics of drying and curing of coatings and paints over time. By scribing on the coating, according to the mathematical formula "distance = speed × time", the carriage is used to drive the scribe from one end to move vertically on the specimen. By observing the various stages in drying of the scratch track, the corresponding moving time of the scale measurement is used to determine the drying and curing time.

Steps
1. Spreader coatings on Glass strips 23mm wide and 340mm long using the Cube Applicator
2. Place the specimen on the instrument
3. Set the running time of each slide
4. Start the instrument, and the stroke rod is driven by the carriage to move vertically on the sample
5. Move time measurement by the scale on the side of the slide
6. Observe the stages in drying and record the results
