Overview
The NM-I Wear resistance tester is a dry Wear meter from the PUSHEN brand, used to test the wear resistance performance of coatings and substrates, such as paints, Eletroplating, fluorine coatings, flooring, wood density, etc. The instrument abrasions the paint on the standard test board, reads the number of abrasions through the counter, combines the Nominal Mass, the number of times and the degree of surface abrasion to evaluate the wear resistance performance. No need to add chilling down liquid, no dust generation, no vacuuming device.
Features
1. Dry abrasion design, no need to chill down liquid and vacuum device
2. Does not generate more dust
3. The number of abrasions is directly read by the counter
4. Test the wear resistance performance of coatings and substrates
5. Suitable for testing a variety of surface materials
Principle
The surface contact abrasion of the coating applied on the standard test plate is carried out by reciprocating friction method. By setting the friction load and Frequency, the number of abrasions is recorded by the counter, and the wear resistance performance of the material is comprehensively evaluated according to the Nominal Mass, the number of abrasions and the degree of surface abrasion.
Applications
Paints, Eletroplating, Fluorine Paint, Flooring, Wood density
Steps
1. Prepare a standard test plate with a size greater than 150 x 150mm
2. Fix the test plate to the instrument
3. Set Friction Load (0~ 3kg) and Friction Frequency (60 +/- 1cpm)
4. Start the instrument and perform a reciprocating friction test
5. Record the number of abrasions (1-9999) through the counter
6. Evaluate abrasion performance based on abrasion results
Notice
• Power supply voltage 220V AC 50Hz
• The size of the test plate should be greater than 150 × 150mm
• Friction load shall not exceed 3kg
Friction Frequency within 60 +/- 1cpm
• Regularly check the operating status of the instrument
• Avoid use in humid environments
