The RONGJIDA JQ-III formaldehyde climate test chamber is mainly used to determine the release of free formaldehyde in wood products, furniture, floors, carpets, footwear products, building decoration materials and other consumer goods. The method is to put the specimen with known surface area into the test box with temperature, Humidity, Air Flow velocity and air replacement rate controlled at a certain value, so that the formaldehyde is released and mixed with the air in the box. By regularly extracting the air and measuring the formaldehyde concentration in the absorption liquid, the formaldehyde concentration in the air in the box is calculated until it reaches the equilibrate state.

Periodically, the mixed air in the box is extracted and passed through the washing cylinder containing the absorption liquid (water), and the formaldehyde is absorbed by the water. The formaldehyde concentration in the air in the test box is calculated by measuring the concentration of formaldehyde in the absorption liquid and the volume of air extracted. This process is carried out periodically until the formaldehyde concentration in the box reaches a stable equilibrated state.
