Overview
JFL QND-1 viscosity cup is a measuring instrument designed according to GB/T 1723-93 standard. It is suitable for the measurement of the conditional viscosity of coatings and Miscellaneous related products, and the outflow time is required to be not less than 20 seconds. The product expresses the viscosity in seconds (S) by measuring the time when the Basis Weight sample is completely outflow from the specified diameter hole under certain temperature conditions.

Principle
At a certain temperature, the measurement of 50 ml Basis Weight sample from the specified diameter of the flow hole all the time, expressed in seconds (S) of the conditional viscosity of the product. The outflow time (s) can be converted into kinematic viscosity (mm ²/s) by the formula t = 0.053v + 1.0.

Steps
1. Prepare the sample to be tested and control the test temperature
2. Pour 50ml sample into viscosity cup
3. Record the time for the sample to flow out of the orifice
4. If necessary, use the formula t = 0.053v + 1.0 for viscosity conversion

• Ensure sample temperature is stable before measurement
• The outflow time should not be less than 20 seconds
• Clean the viscosity cup in time after use
• Avoid collision and scratching the inner wall of the flow hole
