Overview
RONGJIDA SC-145 mortar consistency meter is designed and manufactured according to the national standard of basic performance test method of construction mortar, which is used to determine the mortar mix ratio or control the consistency of mortar during construction to achieve the purpose of controlling water consumption. The instrument measures the flowability consistency of mortar by measuring the depth (in centimeters) of the standard cone sinking into the mortar under its own weight.
Features
1. Designed and manufactured according to national standards to ensure test accuracy.
2. Using special scale disc indicator table, the reading is intuitive.
3. Equipped with a digital display ruler, it can be adjusted to zero at any position to directly read the sinking depth.
4. The height of the cross arm is adjustable, making it easy to adapt to different testing requirements.
5. Stable structure, composed of chassis, bracket, digital scale, standard test cone and container.
Principle
Mortar consistency is expressed by the depth (in centimeters) at which a standard cone of a certain geometry and weight freely sinks into the mortar mixture by its own weight. The instrument quantifies the flowability of the mortar by measuring this depth of sinking.
Applications
Determination of building mortar mix ratio and mortar consistency control during construction
Standards
National standard for basic performance test method of building mortar
Steps
1. Place the instrument on a stable bench.
2. Loosen the set screw on the column, adjust the cross arm to the appropriate height and fix it.
3. Place the container containing the mortar sample on the chassis.
4. Zero the digital display ruler.
5. Make the standard cone tip in contact with the mortar surface.
6. Loosen the fixing device and let the test cone sink freely into the mortar under its own weight.
7. After the test cone stops sinking, read the sinking depth value directly from the digital display ruler.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is placed smoothly before use.
• When adjusting the cross arm and fixing the test cone, please operate the relevant setting screws.
• During testing, ensure that the test cone sinks vertically and freely without being affected by external forces.
• When reading, the line of sight should be kept perpendicular to the scale to reduce errors.
• After use, the test cone and container should be cleaned promptly.
• Do not use over the range.
• Regularly check whether the connecting parts of the instrument are tight.
