Overview
The waterproof membrane anti-perforation instrument is a professional testing instrument. It is designed according to the GB12952-2011 standard and uses a heavy hammer to drop Impact PVC waterproof membrane from a height to determine its perforation resistance. The instrument consists of a base, a pad, a punch rod, a scale catheter, a positioning mark, a hook, an upper cover, a controller component, a heavy hammer, a locking pipe bolt, a pressure plate, a pillar and other structures.
Features
1. Designed according to the GB12952-2011 standard to ensure the professionalism and accuracy of testing.
2. Using the principle of free-fall impact of heavy hammer to simulate the actual perforation force.
3. The catheter has a clear scale for accurate setting and reading of Impact Height.
4. Equipped with a dedicated controller component to achieve convenient lifting and accurate release of the weight.
5. Reasonable structural design, including standardized pads and pads to ensure the conformity of test conditions.
Principle
The instrument uses the controller assembly to lift the weight to the height specified by the catheter scale and fix it. When the control screw is pressed, the controller spring is compressed, so that the round hole on the controller slider is aligned with the round hole on the upper cover and lower bottom of the controller, thereby releasing the hook and allowing the weight to fall freely. The falling weight strikes the punch rod, and the punch rod acts the impact force vertically on the specimen placed on the backing plate. Its anti-perforation performance is assessed by observing the state of the specimen after the impact.
Applications
Detection of Perforation Resistance of PVC Waterproof Membrane
Steps
1. Place the specimen on an aluminum backing plate.
2. Use the controller component to raise the weight to the desired height and read the height value through the positioning mark.
3. Press the control screw to release the weight so that it falls freely against the punch rod.
4. After the impact is completed, lift the weight and punch.
5. Remove the sample, observe and evaluate the perforation of the sample.
Notice
• Please ensure that all parts of the instrument are in good condition and firmly installed before use.
• The weight of the heavy hammer is 500g +/- 1g, which needs to be calibrated regularly.
• Impact height needs to be precisely set by catheter scale according to standard requirements.
• When operating the release hammer, pay attention to safety and avoid body parts located below the impact area.
• Foam polystyrene spacers and aluminum spacers for testing should be kept clean and flat to ensure consistent test conditions.
• The instrument should be properly kept after use to avoid impact or corrosion of precision components such as heavy hammers and punches.
