Overview
The RONGJIDA ZSY-24 impact test instrument is a professional testing instrument for impact puncture testing of asphalt and polymer roofing waterproofing membranes. The instrument is designed according to the national standard GB/T 328.24-2007 "Test Methods for Building Waterproofing Membrane" Part 24 to evaluate the impact performance of waterproofing membranes.
Features
1. According to the national standard GB/T 328.24-2007 design, the test standard is unified.
2. Impact performance testing for asphalt and polymer roofing waterproofing membranes.
3. Equipped with different diameter puncture tools and counterweight rings, it can be used for stepped Impact testing.
4. Provide standard pressure rings, stainless steel plates and polystyrene plates to ensure that the test conditions are specified.
Principle
Impact the piercing tool on the specimen by releasing a specific mass of drop weight that falls freely from a specified height. Test by using the piercing tool with increasing diameter until the specimen is penetrated, and characterize the anti-Impact performance of the coil by the diameter of the piercing tool. After the test, determine whether the specimen is penetrated and leaked by applying a pressure difference and observing whether bubbles are generated.
Applications
Water proofer testing, asphalt waterproofing membrane mass evaluation, polymer waterproofing membrane performance testing
Standards
GB/T 328.24-2007
Steps
1. Take at least 10 specimens and place them under specified conditions for at least 24 hours.
2. Test at the specified temperature of (23 +/- 2) ° C or (-10 +/- 2) ° C, and complete the test within 10 seconds after the frozen specimen is removed.
3. Each test uses a new specimen and a new polystyrene plate.
4. Place the test piece flat on the thermal insulation material, with the upper surface facing up, press it with a pressure ring, and place the polystyrene plate on the stainless steel plate of the concrete foundation.
5. Release the drop weight and allow it to fall freely from a height of (600 +/- 5) mm from the upper surface of the specimen.
6. Ensure the center position of the specimen under the pressure ring of the puncture tool.
7. Start the test with a 10mm diameter puncture tool, and after the specimen is punctured, use a larger diameter tool in turn until 40mm.
8. Check whether the test piece is broken down: Apply soap solution to the surface of the Impact area, after 5-10 minutes, apply a 15KPa pressure difference to the Impact area (the upper surface is the low pressure side), and observe whether there are air bubbles within 60 seconds to determine whether leakage perforation.
9. Impact performance is expressed in puncture tool diameter and requires at least 4 of the 5 specimens to be leak-free.
Notice
• The specimen preparation needs to be cut from 100mm away from the edge in the width direction of the coil, and processed according to the specified conditions.
• During the low temperature test, the test should be completed within 10 seconds after the specimen is removed from the freezer to ensure the temperature conditions.
• Each test must use a new specimen and a new polystyrene plate to ensure the accuracy of the results.
• The drop weight release height needs to be precisely controlled within the range of (600 +/- 5) mm.
• The puncture must be aligned with the center of the specimen.
The test should start with the minimum diameter (10mm) puncture tool and gradually increase.
• During breakdown inspection, the pressure difference should be applied according to the specified method and fully observed to avoid misjudgment.
• The result is determined that at least 4 of the 5 specimens are free of leakage.
