Overview
The intelligent asphalt softening point tester is a professional testing instrument used to determine the temperature when asphalt softens under specified conditions and falls to 25mm. It meets the JTJ052-2000 standard of the Ministry of Communications. The SYD-2806F softening point tester is changed to a LCD screen display on the basis of the E type, which reflects the high-grade instrument, is not irritating to the human eye, and has all the characteristics of the E type. It can be equipped with an optional printer with a computer interface.

Principle
The instrument monitors the temperature sensitively through an external temperature sensor, and uses PID and fuzzy logic algorithm to control the heating speed to realize linear heating. Under the action of magnetic stirringdevice, the test temperature is ensured to be uniform. When the asphalt sample is softened under the specified conditions and the steel ball falls to 25.4mm, the instrument automatically or manually records the temperature at this time, which is the softening point of the asphalt.

Steps
1. Prepare the specimen and install it in the test ring.
2. Place the steel ball on the specimen.
3. Turn on the instrument and set the parameters.
4. Start the test, and the instrument automatically controls the temperature rise.
5. Observe the sample. When the steel ball drops to 25.4mm, the instrument automatically or manually records the temperature.
6. At the end of the test, the instrument automatically calculates the average value (if in automatic mode).
Notice
• Power supply voltage is 220V before use.
• The instrument should be used under the conditions of Ambient Temperature 5~ 40 ℃ and Humidity not more than 85%.
• Ensure that the ball mass is 3.5g +/- 0.05g and the diameter is 9.53mm.
The heating rate should be controlled at (5 +/- 0.5) ° C/min.
• Check whether the magnetic stirringdevice is working normally before the test to ensure uniform temperature.
Do not perform unnecessary operations or movements while the instrument is running.
• Maintain and calibrate instruments regularly.
