Overview
PUSHEN ISO-5 #flow cup is designed and manufactured according to the international standard ISO2431-1993 and the national standard GB/T6753.4-98, which is used to test the outflow time of Newtonian or similar Newtonian liquids.

Principle
The viscosity characteristics of the liquid are characterized by the measurement of the time required for a certain volume of liquid to completely flow out of the flow hole of the specified aperture at the bottom of the standard flow cup under the action of gravity. The outflow time can be converted into a kinematic viscosity value by the formula.

Steps
1. Wipe the inner wall of the cup with fine gauze dipped in solution before and after measurement, and twist it into a rope to clean the flow hole with soft paper.
2. Place the flow cup on the bracket and adjust the bracket to level.
3. Prepare a stopwatch with an accuracy of 0.1 seconds, while pressing the outflow hole with your finger.
4. Slowly pour the measured liquid with controlled temperature into the flow cup to avoid bubbles and scrape the mouth of the cup with a scraper.
5. Start the stopwatch and quickly release the finger. When the outflow liquid is interrupted, press the stopwatch instantly to record the outflow time.
Notice
• Thoroughly clean the inner wall and flow hole of the flow cup before use.
• Make sure the flow cup holder is in a horizontal state.
• Pour the liquid slowly to avoid bubbles.
• After the liquid is filled, scrape the mouth of the cup with a scraper.
• For accurate data, multiple measurements can be averaged.
• The stopwatch (accuracy 0.1 seconds) and flow cup bracket need to be brought by yourself or purchased.
