Overview
The PUSHEN DIN8 cup is a Benchtop viscosity cup used to determine the viscosity of fluids such as inks, coatings, paints, etc. It is designed according to the German Standardization Committee DIN 53211 standard, with a stainless steel nozzle and anodic oxidation aluminum cup body, which has good corrosion resistance. This model corresponds to an 8mm measurement aperture and is suitable for specific viscosity range determination.
Features
1. Designed and produced according to German DIN 53211 standard.
2. Provide a variety of models (No. 2, No. 4, No. 6, No. 8) corresponding to different aperture sizes (2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm), suitable for different viscosity ranges.
3. The main material is stainless steel and anodic oxidation aluminum, with good corrosion resistance.
4. The test method is simple and used for the relative viscosity measurement and classification of fluids.
Principle
The Working Principle of the Benchtop DIN Cup is to make the measured liquid flow through the standard nozzle, characterize its viscosity by measuring the time (seconds) required for a certain volume (e.g. 100ml) of liquid to flow out, and carry out relative measurement and classification. The measured outflow time seconds can directly represent the kinematic viscosity value, and can also be converted into centistokes (cSt) units by conversion tools.
Applications
Tack determination of inks, paints, etc
Steps
1. Prepare the tested liquid and PUSHEN DIN8 viscosity cup.
2. Prepare a stopwatch with high accuracy.
3. Make the liquid flow out of the nozzle of the viscosity cup.
4. Measure and record the time (seconds) required for a certain volume (such as 100ml) of liquid to flow.
Notice
• When using Pushen No. 8 DIN cup, a stopwatch with high accuracy is required.
