Overview
Form 13H-H is a LENETA brand sealed spreading rate cardboard. The top and bottom of the cardboard are disbonding (or zebra pattern) areas, with a central section divided into top black and bottom white, and are designed for measurement using colorimeter or Glossiness Meter. The test area is accurate, about 0.1 square meters (about 1 square foot), and the whole is brighter than most Leneta white charts, with a Y value of about 87.
Features
1. Designed for sealed testing.
2. The cardboard center provides a contrasting area of top black and bottom white for easy instrument measurement.
3. The top and bottom are disbonding (zebra pattern) areas, providing multiple black/white interfaces, which are more suitable for visual evaluation.
4. The test area is accurate, approximately 0.1 square meters (approximately 1 square foot).
5. The paper luminance is high, and the Y value is about 87.
Principle
The spreading rate cardboard provides a test substrate for coating and sealed Spreader performance evaluation by providing a standardized black-and-white contrast area and a zebra stripe area. Users place the sample to be tested in the specified area of the cardboard, and use the colorimeter and Glossiness Meter to make objective measurements in the black-and-white area, or make intuitive visual comparisons through the zebra stripe area to evaluate the hiding power and Glossiness performance of the sample.
Applications
Paint performance testing, sealing evaluation, chroma measurement, gloss measurement
Steps
1. Prepare the sealed sample to be tested.
2. Spreader the sample evenly in the specified test area of the Form 13H-H cardboard.
3. After the coating drying or curing, place the cardboard in the measurement environment.
4. Use a colorimeter or Glossiness Meter to align the black and white areas in the center of the jam for measurement.
5. At the same time, the coating can be visually evaluated by observing the zebra stripe areas at the top and bottom of the cardboard.
Notice
• Before use, make sure that the surface of the cardboard is clean, flat, and free of creases or contamination.
• Spreader the sample, ensure that the coating covers the specified test area evenly and with the same thickness.
• When making instrument measurements, make sure that the measurement head is perpendicular to the cardboard surface and aligned with the specified Color area.
• Standard light sources or consistent lighting conditions should be used to ensure comparable results.
• Cardboard is a one-time test consumable, please do not use it for repeability.
• Please store in a cool drying place to avoid moisture or direct sunlight.
