Overview
The Form 14H model is a LENETA brand Opacity cardboard, a black and white sealing Opacity chart. The chart is divided into 4 equal parts, followed by white, black, white, and black areas. Dimensions are 11-1/4 x 17-1/4 inches (286 x 438 mm).

Principle
This product acts as a test cardboard, providing a standardized contrast background for Opacity testing of coatings, such as seals, through its alternating black and white areas, to evaluate the ability of coatings to mask the underlying Color.
Applications
Sealed Opacity Test
Steps
1. Prepare the sealed sample to be tested.
2. Spreader the sample evenly or apply it to the test area of the Form 14H cardboard.
3. Observe and evaluate the masking effect of the coating on a black and white background to determine its Opacity.
Notice
• Before use, please ensure that the surface of the cardboard is clean, flat and free from damage.
• Spreader samples should be uniform to obtain accurate test results.
• This product is a test consumable, please operate according to standard test methods such as ASTM D 344.
• Note that the product Encasement specification is 125 sheets/box, please keep the unused cardboard properly.
