Overview
LENETA Form 26-1M is a wall Gloss-free cardboard with a white and grey design, white top and bottom, and grey middle. The cardboard surface is coated with a flat finish of similar texture, simulating the "tooth" effect of typical trade sale flat wall paints, ensuring that the paint will not "slip" on the surface during brushing or roller painting. Its surface is well sealed and can be used for coating testing of both water-based and solvent-based paints, preventing the carrier from penetrating into the substrate.
Features
1. Two-color design: white and gray areas are combined to facilitate comparison and observation of paint coverage and Color effect.
2. Simulate the real wall: It has a flat Gloss-free finish and "tooth" effect, simulates the surface of the real wall paint, and prevents slippage during coating.
3. Strong versatility: good surface sealing, compatible with water-based and solvent-based coatings to prevent penetration.
4. Clear specifications: Provide accurate dimensions, reflectance, Glossiness and other parameters to ensure standardized testing.
Principle
The cardboard is used as a standardized test substrate, and its Gloss-free surface simulates the texture and adsorption characteristics of a real wall finish coating. The paint is applied to the cardboard by brushing or painting roller, and its surface texture ("teeth") can effectively grasp the paint and prevent sliding during construction. Good sealing prevents the penetration of liquid paint, ensuring that the paint forms a uniform film on the surface, which is used to accurately evaluate the hiding power, Color, leveling and drying performance of the paint. Appearance.
Applications
Paint performance testing, Color and hiding power evaluation, construction technology research, quality control, R & D laboratory
Steps
Prepare a flat work surface and remove the LENETA Form 26-1M cardboard.
2. According to the test requirements, choose water-based or solvent-based coatings.
3. Using a brush or roller, spread the paint evenly over the white and gray areas of the cardboard.
4. Observe the coating process to ensure uniform adhesion and no slippage.
5. Spreader the paper after drying under standard conditions.
6. After drying, evaluate the hiding power, Color, leveling and surface effect of the paint.
Notice
• Please ensure that the surface of the cardboard is clean and free of damage before use.
• Standard application practices should be followed when applying paint to ensure conformity of test results.
• After testing, waste cardboard should be properly disposed of according to local regulations, depending on the type of paint used (water-based or solvent-based).
• Cardboard should be stored in a cool drying place to avoid moisture or pressure deformation.
