Overview
The American LENETA Form AAX-1P Aluminum Foil Cardboard is an aluminum metal substrate with a surface free of undercoating. It is a low-cost metal substrate test board that can be used as an alternative to expensive solid metal panels for related tests. Each card has a 1/4 inch (6.4 mm) diameter hole at one end. In addition to the lower cost, its main advantages include a lighter weight for easy storage. One side of the AAX-1P is coated with a transparent organic undercoat, designed to increase the coating adhesion force.
Features
1. Using aluminum metal substrate, the cost is lower.
2. Can replace expensive solid metal panels for testing.
3. One end of the card is prefabricated with a 6.4mm diameter hanging hole.
4. Light weight, easy to store and operate.
5. One side is coated with a transparent organic undercoat, which helps to improve the coating adhesion.
Principle
This product serves as a standardized test substrate, with a transparent organic undercoat side providing a metal surface with specific adhesion performance for coatings, inks or Miscellaneous coatings. Users apply a Spreader to the material to be tested to evaluate the performance of the material on the metal substrate through subsequent tests, such as adhesion, resistance, etc.
Applications
Coating testing, inks testing, coating performance evaluation, adhesion testing
