The LENETA Form P300-7G transparent hiding power card is a colorless and transparent thin film substrate mainly used for the evaluation of the Appearance properties of coatings. It can be used to observe the Color, Gloss and transparency of coatings, or to evaluate the hiding power of coatings by placing them on a black and white background. In addition, the transparent card can also be used as a cover layer to provide protection after scraping and drying without blocking the line of sight.

Principle
The product provides a standardized colorless transparent film as a substrate. Appearance properties such as Color, Gloss and transparency of the coating can be directly observed when the coating is applied to it. When hiding power needs to be evaluated, the coated transparent card can be placed on a standard black and white background, and its hiding performance can be judged by comparing the degree of covering of the background by the coating. When used as a cover, its transparency properties allow the sample to be scraped underneath while maintaining the visibility of the sample.

Steps
1. Spreader the coating to be tested on the transparent hiding power card as the substrate.
2. Observe and record the Color, Gloss and transparency of the coating on the transparent card.
3. If you need to test the hiding power, place the coated transparent card on the black and white background respectively, and evaluate the degree to which it covers the background.
4. If you need to protect the scraped sample, you can use another transparent hiding power card as a cover layer and gently cover the dried sample.
