Overview
The LENETA Form P121-A standard board hiding power card is a standard test board prepared by applying white latex paint to a black scruf test board. The paint film performance is stable, and each panel is basically the same. It is mainly used as a control standard for measuring the scruf resistance of the paint to obtain a calibrate grade, thereby standardizing broad differences in laboratory tests for unknown reasons.

Principle
This standard plate serves as a benchmark for scrub resistance testing. The calibrate grade percentage of the test sample is calculated by comparing the failure period or weight loss of the test sample with the standard plate under the same scruf method, thereby standardizing the test results between different laboratories. The calculation formula is: calibrate grade = (test panel failure period/calibrate panel failure period) × 100, or according to ASTM D 4213 using weight loss calculation: calibrate grade = (calibrate panel weight loss/test panel weight loss) × 100.
Applications

Steps
1. Place the standard board and the paint sample to be tested on the same scruf test equipment.
2. Test both using the same scruf method.
3. Record the failure period of the standard board and the sample to be tested (or record the weight loss according to ASTM D 4213).
4. Calculate the calibrated grade percentage of the sample to be tested according to the formula.
Notice
• This product has poor washing resistance and is recycled about 80 times. Please pay attention to the number of uses so as not to affect the accuracy of calibrating.
• The calibrate grade indicates the calibrate panel type letters, such as 125A, 65C, 95D, etc.
• This product is specially calibrated for scrubbing resistance testing under ASTM D 2486 and other standards.
• Please keep it properly to avoid scratching or contaminating the top coating of the board.
