Overview
PUSHEN PS 2930/9 hiding power assay cardboard is an all-white, Laminating type test piece with a size of 187 × 265mm and an Encasement size of 100 sheets/pack. Made of high-mass non-fluorescent paper, it does not contain Fluorescent Whitening Agent and is suitable for hiding power testing and rapid proofing of coatings, paints and inks. It has become the market standard product in the coatings industry.
Features
Black part reflectance < 1%, white part reflectance is 80 +/- 2%.

4. The spreading rate test piece has an area of 0.1 square meters and is suitable for specific spreading rate brushing.
Principle
Hiding power measurement cardboard evaluates covering after Spreader coating by its high contrast ratio reflectance (black part reflectance < 1%, white part reflectance 80 +/- 2%). Laminating design enhances surface smoothness and Curl resistance, ensuring substrate stability during testing for accurate measurement of coating performance.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate hiding power measurement cardboard model (such as PS 2930/9).
2. Spreader the paint to be tested evenly on the cardboard.
3. Observe the covering effect of the cardboard after the Spreader and evaluate the change of reflectance.
Notice
• Make sure the surface of the cardboard is clean to avoid contamination affecting the test results.
• Laminating cardboard has better resistance to Curling when stoving, but the temperature needs to be controlled.
Keep drying during storage to prevent deformation or damage to the paper.
