LX-F sponge hardness gauge is a self-weighing instrument specially customized by LIULING brand for the measurement of foam hardness of materials. It implements the Japanese enterprise standard FO series 744G model. It is suitable for measuring the Hardness of soft foam materials and polyurethane foam products. When used, the pressure foot directly contacts the sample, and uses its own weight as the force load.

Principle

The hardness gauge directly contacts the surface of the sample by pressing the foot, uses the weight of the instrument as the force load, and applies pressure to the material within the Travel range of the crimper, and converts it into the Hardness value according to the pressing depth or resistance, expressed in HF units.
