Overview
This thickness gauge is an instrument for measuring emulsion, rubber, paper and other thicknesses. It has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient use and reliable mass. The instrument has two categories: hand-type and Benchtop, which can be carried with you and handheld for measurement. It is suitable for on-site measurement in workshops; Benchtop can be used in physical laboratories for sample measurement.
Features
1. Simple structure, easy to use and reliable mass
2. Handheld design for portable and handheld measurement
3. Suitable for on-site measurement in the workshop
4. Dial reading display, Graduation accuracy to 0.001mm
Principle
A pressure of 22kPa +/- 5kPa (corresponding to mass 44g +/- 4g) is applied through the probe to contact the surface of the measured material, and the pointer shows the thickness reading for accurate measurement.
Applications
Thickness measurement of emulsion, rubber, paper and other materials
Standards
HG/T 2041-2009、HG/T 2198-2011、HG/T 2382-1992
Steps
1. Aim the thickness gauge probe at the surface of the material to be tested
2. Apply appropriate pressure to the handheld instrument
3. Read the thickness value displayed by the pointer
Notice
• Make sure the probe is clean and pollution-free before measurement
• Applying pressure should meet the range of 22kPa +/- 5kPa
• Avoid use in humid or corrosive environments
• Measurement accuracy calibrated regularly
