Principle
The instrument applies standard pressure (22kPa +/- 5kPa) to the sample through the probe, uses a mechanical measurement system to detect the material thickness, and directly reads the measurement results through the Dial display device.

Steps
1. Place the instrument on a stable bench
2. Place the sample on the measurement platform
3. Make contact with the sample surface
4. Read the thickness value displayed by the pointer
