Overview
The BOSEAN K-100 (EX-FR) Portable Gas Leak Detector is a multifunctional gas detection device that detects combustible gases, oxygen, and a variety of toxic and harmful gases. Powered by lithium batteries, the instrument features long Continuous Operating Time and Fast Response, making it suitable for gas leak detection and safety monitoring in a variety of industrial environments.
Features
1. There are many types of detectable gases, including flammable gases, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, etc.
2. With infrared detection technology option for detecting combustible gases and carbon dioxide.
3. Alarm modes are diverse, including LCD display, Light Emitting Diode, sound and vibration indication.
4. Explosion-proof level is high, and the explosion-proof mark is Exib IIB T3 Gb.
5. Protection Rating is IP65, with certain dustproof and waterproof ability.
6. Powered by lithium battery, Continuous Operating Time is not less than 8 hours.
7. Sensor lifespan is up to 24 months.
8. Light weight, about 300g, easy to carry.
Principle
The leak detector detects the concentration of target gases in the environment through built-in sensors such as catalytic combustion sensors for combustible gases, Electrochemical sensors for toxic gases and oxygen, and infrared sensors for specific gases. The sensor converts the gas concentration signal into an electrical signal, which is processed by the instrument's internal circuit and displayed on the LCD screen. When the gas concentration reaches a preset Alarm threshold, the instrument will trigger sound, light, vibration and other ways to alarm.
Applications
Petrochemicals, gas transmission and distribution, metallurgical casting, environmental monitoring, emergency rescue, underground pipe gallery, sewage treatment, laboratory
Standards
Explosion-proof standard: Exib ⅱ B T3 Gb
Steps
1. Before starting, check whether the Appearance of the instrument is in good condition and whether the power is sufficient.
2. Press the power button for a long time to turn it on, and the instrument will self-test.
3. After the self-test is completed, the instrument enters the detection state and places the Sensor Probe in the environment to be tested.
4. Observe the gas concentration reading displayed on the LCD screen.
5. If you need to set the alarm point, enter the menu according to the manual to set it manually.
6. After the test is completed, shut down.
7. When the power is insufficient, use the matching charger to charge, and the charging time is about 6-8 hours.
Notice
* Do not use in environments exceeding -10~ 40 ℃ Temperature range or Humidity ≥ 95% RH (with condensation).
The instrument is designed to be explosion-proof, but do not disassemble or charge it in a dangerous location.
* Avoid Strong Impact or Drop of Instrument.
* Do not use the instrument to detect gas concentrations beyond its range.
Periodically calibrate the instrument to ensure accuracy.
* Sensors have a lifespan of about 24 months and need to be replaced in time.
* Please use the original charger when charging and ensure a safe environment.
When the instrument alarms, please take appropriate safety measures immediately.
* When not in use for a long time, please charge it regularly to maintain battery performance.
