Overview
The C84-ⅲ reflectivity meter is a special instrument developed by SHIBO for the implementation of international standards and national standards in the chemical industry such as coatings, pigments, inks, etc. It can be used for the determination of the hiding power of paint films.
Features
Full compliance with international standards ISO3906-1980 (E) and a number of national standards
2. Advanced Optical inspection principle with 0 ° irradiation and diffuse reflection reception
3. Equipped with standard plate and working ceramic plate to ensure measurement accuracy
4. Digital display, easy and intuitive operation
Principle
The instrument is composed of Probe, main body, standard board and working ceramic board. Probe adopts the principle of 0 ° irradiation and diffuse reflection reception. When the reflected light of the sample acts on the surface of the silicon Photocell, photovoltaic cell generates an electrical signal, which is input to the DC amplifier and amplified by the digital display.
Applications
Paints, pigments, inks
Standards
ISO3906-1980(E)、GB/T13452.3-92、GB9270-88、GB5211.17-88
Steps
1. Connect the Probe to the electric control box, turn on the power supply, turn it on and warm up for 10-15 minutes. The Probe should be placed on the black standard board.
2. Zero correction: Probe is placed on the white standard board, adjust the zero correction knob to make the display 000.0 +/- 0.1
3. Calibration Standard value: Probe on the white standard board, adjust the calibration knob to make the display value consistent with the white standard board calibration +/- 0.1, repeability zero and calibration once
4. Measurement RB value: Probe moved to the black working ceramic plate with the sample and read the displayed value
5. measurement RW value: Probe moved to the white working ceramic plate with the sample, read the displayed value
6. Calculate contrast ratio: RB/RW × 100%
Notice
• Measurement Ambient Temperature should be close to 25 ° C, the instrument should be calibrated frequently, allowing deviation +/- 0.3
• The Probe should be placed on the black standard board during the test gap to reduce the number of plugs and plugs
• White standard boards should be kept away from contamination, and high-grade drawing erasers can be used to remove stains
• Sample preparation should be strictly in accordance with GB9271-88 national standards
