Overview
NIRUN SMJ-1 coal water slurry Viscometer is a special viscosity measurement instrument for coal water slurry developed according to the requirements of the national standard GB/T188564-2002. The instrument is controlled by a microcomputer processor and has functions such as digital liquid crystal display, stepper motor drive, RTD temperature real-time monitoring, etc. Measurement accuracy is high, easy to operate, and can be extended to realize automatic operation and data analytics.
Features
1. In line with the requirements of the national standard GB/T188564-2002, specially designed for the viscosity measurement of coal water slurry.
2. Adopt a 16-bit microcomputer processor and a stepper motor for high-subdivision drive, resulting in smooth and accurate rotation.
3. Digital LCD screen with blue backlight, display comprehensive information, including viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, torque percentage and rotor number.
4. With torque alarm function (warning when torque is less than 10% or higher than 90%).
5. Equipped with RTD temperature probe, real-time monitoring of material temperature, accuracy 0.1 ℃, Measurement range 0 ℃ -120 ℃.
6. Provide RS232 interface, support data printing (interval can be set) and computer communication, realize program control and data collection.
7. Optional DV program-controlled offline download software for automation and personalized operation; or optional rheological characteristic software for data analytics, preservation and historical comparison.
8. Using patch technology, the circuit design is compact, and the Linearity of each gear is corrected through the PC interface, and the performance reaches the professional level.
Principle
The Viscometer controls a stepper motor through a microcomputer processor to drive the rotor to swirl/spin at a set speed in the sample. Tack resistance to the rotor swirl/spin is converted into a torque signal, and the instrument calculates the viscosity value of the sample by measuring this torque and combining the rotor parameters and speed. At the same time, the RTD temperature probe monitors the sample temperature in real time to ensure accurate measurement conditions. After all the data is processed, it is visually displayed on the LCD screen.
Applications
Coal water slurry viscosity measurement
Standards
GB/T188564-2002
Steps
1. Install and select the appropriate rotor.
2. Place the sample in the measurement vessel, ensuring that the rotor is immersed in the sample to the specified depth.
3. Connect RTD temperature probe to monitor sample temperature.
4. Set the desired rotational speed or shear rate through the instrument buttons.
5. Start measurement, the instrument automatically runs and displays viscosity, temperature, torque and other data in real time.
6. During the measurement process, if the torque exceeds the range (< 10% or > 90%), the instrument will issue a warning and need to adjust the rotor or speed.
7. After the measurement is completed, the printer or computer can be connected through the RS232 interface for data output, storage or further analysis.
Notice
* Make sure the instrument is properly calibrated before use.
* Select the appropriate rotor according to the estimated viscosity range to ensure that the torque is within the effective Measurement range (10% -90%).
* Ensure that the sample temperature is stable and the measurement is carried out within the material Temperature range allowed by the instrument (5 ℃~ 75 ℃).
Be careful when installing and cleaning the rotor to avoid bending or damage.
* When connecting or disconnecting peripherals such as RS232 interface and temperature probe, it is recommended to turn off the instrument power first.
The instrument should be placed on a stable, vibration-free surface for use.
* Regular maintenance and calibration according to the instructions for use to ensure Measurement accuracy.
