Overview
NIRUN NDJ-9S digital Viscometer is a precision measuring instrument with high subdivision drive stepper motor and microcomputer control system. It is suitable for the measurement of viscosity of various fluids. It has the characteristics of accurate and stable speed, high measurement accuracy, intuitive data display, and a variety of optional accessories to meet different measurement needs.

8. Optional RS232 interface to connect the micro printer to print measurement data in real time.
Principle
The instrument drives a high-subdivision stepper motor through a microcomputer control system to drive the rotor to swirl/spin at a set constant speed in the sample. When the rotor swirl/spin is subjected to the resistance of the sample Tack, torque is generated, which is proportional to the viscosity of the sample. The instrument detects the torque value through the Sensor, and after the computer full-scale linear correction process, the final viscosity value of the sample is directly displayed on the LCD display screen.

Steps
Prepare a sufficient amount of sample (approximately 300-400 ml) in a suitable container.
2. Select the appropriate rotor according to the estimated viscosity and install it on the instrument.
3. Adjust the lifting system and immerse the rotor in the sample to the specified mark.
4. Turn on the power and set the required measurement speed through the instrument panel.
5. Start the measurement, after the display reading is stable, record or output the viscosity value through the printer.
6. After the measurement is completed, turn off the power and clean the rotor.
Notice
• Please select the appropriate rotor and speed combination according to the estimated viscosity range to ensure that the measurement value is within the range.
• Ensure that the rotor is fully immersed in the sample to the specified marking line and keep the sample temperature stable for accurate results.
• When the instrument alarm prompts, it indicates that the measurement range under the current rotor and speed may be exceeded, and the rotor should be replaced or the speed should be adjusted.
• After use, the rotor should be cleaned in time to avoid sample residue affecting the subsequent Measurement accuracy or damaging the rotor.
• Optional RTD temperature probe to monitor sample temperature, which is especially important for temperature sensitive sample measurements.
When connecting to a micro printer or for data transmission, ensure that the interface connection is stable.
