Overview
NDJ-1 digital rotational viscometer is a precision instrument under the CNSHP brand, suitable for measuring the viscosity and rheological performance of various liquids and semi-fluids. It is widely used in the viscosity determination of oils, paints, food, cosmetics, adhesives and other fluids. It is one of the most used tools in new product development, product quality control and other testing and analysis.
Features
1. The lifting system adopts helical tooth strip/helical gear mode, which is convenient and easy to move up and down, accurate positioning and will not slip.
2. A universal joint is added at the interface connecting the rotor, which can effectively reduce the test error caused by the different centers of the shaft and the rotor, and protect the shaft tip from damage.
3. The transmission gear is made of high wear-resistant and high-performance engineering plastics in one press molding to ensure smooth operation and improve the test accuracy.
4. Fine processing, excellent performance, careful processing and debugging of parts.
5. Thermostatic bath for rotational viscometer is provided to meet the needs of sample temperature control.
Principle
The NDJ-1 rotational viscometer drives a rotor through a motor to swirl/spin at a uniform speed in the sample. The rotor is swirl/spin under the action of the sample viscous force, which causes the spring connected to the rotor to generate torque. The instrument measures the viscosity of the sample by measuring the magnitude of this torque and converting it into a viscosity value, which is displayed in digital form.
Applications
Grease, paints, food, cosmetics, adhesives
Steps
1. Install the instrument on a stable workbench and connect it to the power supply.
2. According to the estimated sample viscosity, choose the appropriate rotor and speed combination.
3. Install the rotor and immerse it in the sample to be tested to the specified scale line.
4. Turn on the power and start the measurement.
5. After waiting for the measurement result to stabilize, the instrument will automatically stop and display the viscosity value.
6. Record the data, turn off the power after the measurement is completed, and clean the rotor.
Notice
* The instrument should be placed in a stable and vibration-free working environment.
* Power supply voltage meets requirements (AC 220V +/- 10%) before use.
When the rotor is immersed in the sample, pay attention to the depth and avoid touching the container wall and bottom.
* When measuring different samples, the rotor must be thoroughly cleaned to prevent cross-contamination.
* Do not use in environments exceeding the allowable Operating temperature (5~ 35 ℃) and relative humidity (≤ 80%).
* Protect the swirl/spin shaft from impact or bending to protect the gimbal and shaft tip.
* For more accurate measurement results, it is recommended to control the sample temperature with a special Thermostatic bath.
