6. With Beep button sound effect prompt.
7. Electrode efficacy self-diagnosis display function.
8. Optional software data collection system, USB Communication interface and data collection software.
Principle
The PH6221 pH Meter converts chemical signals into electrical signals (mV values) through the matching pH composite Electrode measurement of hydrogen ion activity in the solution, and then calculates the corresponding ph value according to the Nernst equation through the microprocessor inside the instrument. The instrument supports automatic or manual temperature compensation to correct the effect of temperature on pH measurement and ensure the accuracy of measurement results.
Applications
Water quality monitoring, environment testing, laboratory analysis, industrial production process control, education and research
Standards
IP65 Protection Ratings
Steps
1. Install the battery and turn it on.
2. Immerse the pH Electrode and the temperature sensor (if it is a composite Electrode) into the solution to be tested or the standard buffer.
3. Electrode calibrated as needed (up to 5 point calibrated).
4. Select automatic or manual temperature compensation mode.
5. Read stable pH, mV or temperature values on the measurement interface.
6. The current reading can be fixed using the reading lock function.
7. After the measurement is completed, clean and properly store the Electrode.
Notice
• Please use the specified standard buffer for calibrating, the calibrating period can be set as needed (0-60 days).
• Make sure Electrode bubble and reference liquid interface are clean, free of contamination or blockage before measurement.
• The instrument has an automatic shutdown function (after 10 minutes of no operation by default), which can be set by yourself.
• When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery.
• Optional USB communication and data collection functions need to be configured separately.
• Do not use in an environment beyond the specified Measurement range (pH: -2.00~ 16.00, temperature: -5.0~ 120.0 ℃).
