Overview
The CON6301 Portable Conductivity Meter is a multi-functional measuring instrument from the SDPTOP brand. It features an oversized 3.2-inch LCD anti-abrasion display that supports conductivity, TDS, salinity, resistivity and temperature measurements, and IP67 Protection Rating for rapid on-site inspections.

Principle
The instrument measures the conductivity of the solution by connecting the Conductivity detector Electrode with a specific Electrode constant. The built-in temperature sensor performs temperature measurement and can calculate and display the conductivity value after manual or automatic temperature compensation according to the set temperature coefficient and reference temperature. At the same time, the instrument can convert the conductivity value into TDS, salinity or resistivity reading according to the preset conversion factor.

Steps
Install 2 AA batteries to power the instrument.
2. According to the measurement requirements, connect the specified Electrode corresponding to the Electrode constant.
3. Turn it on and the instrument will perform self-diagnosis.
4. According to the type of solution to be tested, set the appropriate Measurement mode (such as conductivity, TDS, salinity or resistivity), temperature compensation method and coefficient.
5. Immerse the Electrode in the solution to be tested to ensure that the Electrode sheet is completely submerged.
6. After the reading is stable, press the reading lock button to fix the current value.
7. If data needs to be recorded, it can be saved to the instrument's storage unit.
8. After the measurement is completed, remove the Electrode and wash it with deionized water.
9. The instrument will automatically shut down after a period of inactivity (default 10 minutes).
Notice
• Please use the specified Electrode constant Electrode for measurement to ensure accuracy.
• Please set the temperature compensation method and coefficient correctly according to the solution characteristics before measurement.
• Electrode immersion in the solution should ensure that the measurement site is completely immersed and avoid bubbles.
• The instrument has IP67 Protection Rating, but do not soak the whole machine when cleaning.
• When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery.
• Optional USB communication and data collection functions need to be used with corresponding software.
