Overview
The DO6401 Benchtop dissolved oxygen meter is a professional measuring instrument produced by the SDPTOP brand with dissolved oxygen, Saturation and temperature measurement functions. It features an oversized 3.2-inch LCD anti-abrasion display, supports manual or automatic temperature compensation, and includes various compensation functions such as salinity, pressure and level depth. It is suitable for water quality analysis in the laboratory and in the field.
Features
1. Equipped with a large 3.2-inch LCD multi-line anti-abrasion Display screen.
2. Electrode correction results can display Offset offset and Slope slope.
3. With reading lock function, users can choose to turn it on or off.
4. Support temperature offset adjustment function.
5. With a key setting high luminance backlight function.
6. With Beep button sound effect.
7. Electrode efficacy can be self-diagnosed and displayed.
8. Optional software data collection system, USB Communication interface and data collection software.
Principle
The instrument conducts measurement through a connected dissolved Oxygen electrode. Electrode converts the dissolved oxygen concentration in the water sample into an electrical signal, and the internal processor of the instrument calculates based on this signal, combined with compensation parameters such as temperature, salinity, pressure and liquid level depth entered manually or automatically. Finally, the dissolved oxygen concentration, Saturation and temperature values are displayed on the screen.
Applications
Laboratory water quality analysis, environment monitoring, aquaculture, wastewater treatment, industrial process control
Standards
The data did not mention specific compliance criteria.
Steps
Install 2 AA batteries to power the instrument.
2. Connect the dissolved Oxygen electrode to the host.
3. Electrode correction is performed as required, and Offset and Slope values can be viewed on the screen.
4. Electrode immersed in the water sample to be tested.
5. Set or confirm the temperature compensation method (manual/automatic) and Miscellaneous compensation parameters (such as salinity, pressure, etc.).
6. Wait for the reading to stabilize, and use the reading lock function to fix the display value.
7. After the measurement is completed, the instrument will automatically shut down after 10 minutes of no operation (default setting).
Notice
• Please use the specified 2x1.5V AA battery to power the instrument.
• Before making accurate measurements, be sure to correct the Counter electrode as required.
• Correctly set compensation parameters such as temperature, salinity, pressure and liquid level depth according to the actual measurement environment.
• The instrument will automatically shut down after 10 minutes of no operation by default, and this setting can be adjusted as needed.
• Optional USB Communication interface and data collection software need to be configured separately.
• Pay attention to the maintenance and maintenance of Electrode, and conduct regular self-diagnosis of performance.
