Overview
The DO35 Handheld Dissolved Oxygen Instrument is a Portable measuring instrument with a large LED display and energy storage backlight for rapid on-site detection of dissolved oxygen concentration, Saturation and temperature. The instrument supports manual/automatic temperature compensation, atmospheric pressure and salinity compensation, and has Data storage function. The Protection Rating reaches IP67 to meet the needs of various environments.
Features
1. Using 22 * 32mm multi-line large-screen LED display, equipped with energy storage backlight, easy to read data in an environment with insufficient rays of light.
2. With reading lock function, it is convenient to record stable Measured value.
3. Support automatic shutdown function (after 6 minutes of no operation), and have data saving capabilities to save energy and prevent data loss.
4. Provide a low battery prompt to ensure that users replace the battery in a timely manner.
5. Instrument Protection Rating is IP67, with good dustproof and waterproof performance.
6. Comes with a multi-functional carrying bag for easy portability and storage.
Principle
The instrument uses electrochemistry for measurement. The dissolved oxygen Sensor (Electrode) usually contains a cathode, an anode and electrolysis liquid, and is covered with a breathable membrane. Oxygen diffuses through the film into the Electrode, where a reduction reaction occurs, generating a current signal proportional to the concentration of dissolved oxygen. The internal circuit of the instrument processes the signal, and combines the temperature, salinity and atmospheric pressure compensation parameters entered manually or automatically to calculate and display the exact values of dissolved oxygen concentration (mg/L) and Saturation (%).
Applications
Aquaculture, environment monitoring, sewage treatment, laboratory analysis, education and research
Steps
1. Install the battery and turn it on.
2. According to the measurement environment, manually set or confirm the automatic measurement of temperature, salinity and atmospheric pressure.
3. Immerse the Electrode in the solution to be tested and shake it gently to remove bubbles on the surface of the Electrode.
4. Wait for the reading to stabilize, and use the reading lock function to fix the current value.
5. Record or save measurement data.
6. After use, clean and store the Electrode according to the instructions.
Notice
• Do not use this instrument in strong corrosion liquids or high temperature and high voltage environments.
• Regularly maintain and calibrate the dissolved Oxygen electrode according to the instructions to ensure measurement accuracy.
• When calibrating, use a freshly prepared calibrating solution and ensure Electrode cleanliness.
• When the instrument is not in use for a long time, please remove the battery.
• Avoid severe impact or falling the instrument to prevent damage.
• When reading, make sure that the Electrode remains stable in the solution and avoids bubbles adhering to the Electrode film.
