Overview
QG-3 Metallographic Specimen Cutting Machine (Vertical) is a metallographic and petrographic specimen material cutting equipment of YUZHOU brand. It adopts gravity manual cutting method, uses spindle gravity to cut by pulling spindle, has high Rotation speed and strong cutting ability, is equipped with bilateral fixture structure, closed cutting chamber, safety limit switch, transparent observation window, LED lighting and circulating chill down system, to ensure that the surface of the cut specimen is bright, flat and free of burns, making it an ideal choice for cutting specimens.
Features

Principle
The QG-3 metallographic specimen cutter uses the spindle gravity to cut the specimen by pulling the spindle. During the cutting process, the spindle swirl/spin at high speed (2800rpm), combined with bilateral fixtures to fix the specimen, ensures stable cutting. The circulating chill down system provides a chill down liquid to prevent the specimen from overheating and ensure the cutting surface mass.

Steps
1. Place the specimen on the cutting platform and secure it firmly using bilateral clamps.
2. Turn on the power and start the device.
3. Pull the spindle and use gravity for cutting operations.
4. Observe the cutting process through the transparent Organic Glass window, using LED lighting if necessary.
5. After cutting, turn off the power and remove the sample.
Notice
• Before operation, ensure that the power supply of the equipment is 380V, 50Hz, 10A, three-phase four-wire system, to avoid voltage mismatch.
• Pay attention to safety when cutting, use a closed cutting chamber and safety limit switch to prevent accidents.
• Regularly check the fixture and work surface to ensure that the stainless steel parts are not damaged and maintained in a timely manner.
• When cutting a long strip, use the opening on the left side of the cover to avoid interference.
• Keep the circulating chilling down system running normally, with a water tank capacity of 60L and a pump Flow rate of 25L/min to prevent sample burns.
• Device weight 180kg, handling and installation should pay attention to stability, to avoid dumping.
