Overview
The HI9829 Multi-Parameter water meter is a HANNA brand equipment designed for fast and accurate measurement of water quality. It can simultaneously detect 16 key indicators, including acidity pH, pH-mV, oxidation reduction ORP, conductivity EC, total solid solubility TDS, resistivity, salinity PSU, seawater specific gravity, dissolved oxygen, saturated dissolved oxygen, atmospheric pressure, ammonia nitrogen, chlorides, nitrates, turbidity, temperature and other parameters to ensure comprehensive water quality analysis.

Principle
The HI9829 Multi-Parameter water quality meter performs water quality measurement by integrating a variety of Sensors and automatic compensation mechanisms. Probe uses a quick-connect DIN connector to waterproof connection with the meter to automatically identify the Sensor and collect data. The built-in temperature sensor and barometer perform automatic temperature compensation and pressure compensation for pH, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen respectively, improving Measurement accuracy. The calibrating process supports multi-point or single-point mode, and the data is visually displayed through a backlit graphic LCD display, which can be stored and exported.

Steps
1. Connect the Probe: Use the Quick Connect DIN connector to waterproof the Probe to the meter.
2. Power on: Press the power button to start the device.
3. calibrating: choose the fast or standard calibrating mode as needed to calibrate pH, conductivity or dissolved oxygen.
4. Measurement: Immerse the Probe into the water sample to be tested, and the instrument automatically recognizes the Sensor and displays the parameters.
5. Data recording: Set the recording interval and store the measurement data.
6. View data: View calibrated information or export data through the GLP function key.
Notice
• Make sure Probe is connected correctly to avoid misuse of unused ports.
• Check the effectiveness of the buffer or standard solution before calibrating.
• Clean Probe after use to prevent Sensor contamination.
Operate under specified environment conditions (0~ 50 ℃, RH 100%).
• Regularly check the battery level and use the recommended Power Adapter.
• Data export using HI9 2000-15 data management package.
