Overview
The HANNA HI148-1 Thermometer is a waterproof temperature monitoring device designed for dynamics environments. It offers a variety of sensor configurations, including built-in Probe (-20.0 to 60.0 ° C) and external Probe (-40.0 to 125.0 ° C) to meet different measurement needs. The instrument features high-capacity Data storage, adjustable alarm function and IP67 Protection Rating for continuous temperature monitoring in a variety of application scenarios such as Food processing, transportation, museums and gardening.

Principle
The HANNA HI148-1 temperature meter senses the Ambient Temperature through an internal or external temperature sensor, converts the signal into an electrical signal for processing and display. The instrument automatically collects and stores temperature data according to the user-set recording interval (1 second to 24 hours), and can record the minimum and maximum temperature values within the measurement interval. When the Measuring temperature exceeds the user-preset high and low alarm limit, the LED indicator on the instrument panel flashes to issue an alarm.

Steps
1. Select and connect the appropriate temperature sensor (internal or external) according to the measurement needs.
2. Set the required recording interval, alarm limit and other parameters through the instrument button or HI92148 application software (optional).
3. Install the instrument in a suitable position (using the included wall bracket).
4. The instrument starts to automatically record temperature data.
5. After the data recording is completed, you can connect to the PC via a USB-C cable and use the HI92148 application software (optional) to download and view the stored data.
Notice
• Please make sure to operate within the operating Environment specified by the instrument (-20.0~ 60.0 ℃, RH 100%).
• Note that the configuration and range of temperature measurement Probe of different models (HI148-1, HI148-2, etc.) are different, please confirm according to the model.
• The alarm function requires the user to set the high and low limits by himself before it can take effect.
• Data recording interval and storage mode (Record Temperature, MIN Minimum or Maximum) can be set as required.
• HI92148 application software is optional for advanced settings and data download.
• The instrument is powered by 3 AAA batteries, please ensure that the battery is fully charged.
Despite the IP67 Protection Rating, it is recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to extreme environments.
