Overview
The HANNA HI148-4 Thermometer is a waterproof temperature monitoring device designed for dynamics environments. It features an external stainless steel temperature sensor with a wide (-40.0 to 125.0 ° C) Measurement range and powerful data logging and alarm functions. Its IP67 waterproof housing and accompanying wall brackets make it easy to install in a variety of environments for temperature monitoring in Food processing, transportation, museums and gardening.
Features
1. Specially designed for dynamics environment, with wall bracket, easy installation.
2. IP67 waterproof and dustproof shell, High Protection Rating.
3. Large clear LCD display, real-time display Measured value and temperature change.
4. Provide a variety of models (such as HI148-4 with two-channel external temperature sensor) to meet different measurement needs.
5. With high and low temperature alarm function, panel LED light flashing prompt.
6. Data storage capability, single channel can store up to 16,000 readings.
7. Multifunctional data logging, capable of recording interval temperature, minimum or maximum temperature values.
Record start-up can be delayed, and data transmission and management can be carried out through the optional HI92148 application software.
Principle
The meter senses Ambient Temperature through an external stainless steel temperature sensor and transmits the signal to the host for processing and display. Users can set the recording interval (1 second to 24 hours) and Alarm threshold according to their needs. The device automatically records temperature data and can issue an alarm signal through the panel LED light when the temperature exceeds the set value. The recorded data can be stored inside the device or exported through optional software for analysis.
Applications
Food processing, transportation, museums, gardening
Standards
IP67 waterproof standard
Steps
Install three AAA batteries to power the device.
2. According to the measurement requirements, connect and place the external temperature sensor.
3. Use the device keys or the optional HI92148 software to set the required recording parameters (such as recording interval, Alarm threshold).
4. You can choose to delay the start of the recording function.
5. Install the device in a suitable position through a wall bracket.
6. The device starts to automatically measure and record temperature data, which can be viewed in real time through the LCD screen.
7. When the temperature exceeds the limit, observe the status of the panel alarm LED light.
8. Export the stored measurement data through the device interface or software for analysis.
Notice
• Please ensure that the equipment operates within the specified Operating Environment (-20.0~ 60.0 ℃, RH 100%).
• Pay attention to the temperature measurement range limitations of different models. The HI148-4 model uses an external Probe with a range of -40.0 to 125.0 ° C.
• The alarm function requires the user to set the high and low thresholds before it can take effect.
• Data logging functions (e.g. recording interval, storage mode) need to be configured correctly according to the instructions.
• The optional HI92148 application software is non-standard and needs to be purchased separately for more functions.
• Please use the battery of the specified specification and check the battery regularly.
• Although the device has an IP67 Protection Rating, long-term immersion or extreme environment Impacts should still be avoided.
• The length of the Probe cable is 1 meter. Please pay attention to the distance between the Probe placement position and the host when installing.
