Overview
The HI145-20 is a High Accuracy thermometer with a penetrating AISI 316 stainless steel temperature sensor (size: 300 x 5 mm) and an NTC thermistor Sensor for accurate temperature measurement. The instrument features CAL Check ™ power-on Self-check function, a clear LCD display, and supports 8-minute automatic shutdown without operation. It is a satisfactory instrument for measuring temperature according to HACCP food standards.

7. Measuring temperature according to HACCP food standards.
Principle
The temperature meter senses temperature changes through the built-in NTC thermistor Sensor and converts the signal into an electrical signal for processing and display. When the instrument starts, the CAL Check ™ function automatically verifies the calibrate status to ensure measurement accuracy.

Steps
1. When turned on, the instrument will automatically perform CAL Check ™ self-test.
2. Use the built-in penetrating stainless steel Probe to contact the object or medium to be tested.
3. Read the temperature value displayed on the LCD display.
4. After the measurement is completed, the instrument will automatically shut down after 8 minutes of no operation.
Notice
• When the instrument starts, pay attention to the CAL Check ™ self-test results ("-0-" means normal, "Err" means fault).
• Please ensure that the instrument is operated under the specified Operating Environment (-10~ 50 ℃, RH max 95%).
• Please pay attention to safety when using sharp penetrating Probes to avoid stab wounds.
• Measurement mode, the instrument will automatically shut down after 8 minutes of use to save power.
• Please use the specified 1.5V AAA battery to power the instrument.
