Overview
Shanghai JINGTIAN NDJ-4S digital display Rotational Viscometer is a precision measuring instrument with a range of 20 to 100,000 mPa · s. Its LCD screen can visually display various parameters such as viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed.
Features
1. Digital display LCD screen, can display viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentile torque, rotor number and maximum measurable viscosity value and other information.
2. Wide range, covering 20 to 100,000 mPa · s.
3. Equipped with a variety of rotor specifications (L1 #, L2 #, L3 #, L4 #) and speed gears (6/12/30/60rpm) to adapt to different measurement needs.
4. Measurement accuracy of +/- 5% F. S, reproducibility of +/- 1% F. S, stable and reliable performance.
5. Powered by a dedicated power adapter, with a wide input voltage range (100~ 240V, 50~ 60Hz).
Principle
The Viscometer works on the principle of swirl/spin viscosity measurement. The motor drives the rotor at a constant speed swirl/spin in the fluid to be measured, and the rotor is subjected to the viscous resistance of the fluid to generate torque. The instrument calculates and displays the viscosity value of the fluid and the Miscellaneous related rheological parameters according to the internal physical relationship by measuring the torque value, combined with the geometric parameters and speed of the rotor.
Steps
1. Connect the dedicated power adapter and turn it on.
2. According to the estimated sample viscosity range, select the appropriate rotor and install it.
3. Immerse the rotor into the sample to be tested to the specified marking line.
4. Select the desired measurement speed.
5. Start the measurement, after the reading is stable, read the viscosity value and Miscellaneous related parameters from the LCD screen.
6. After the measurement is completed, turn off the power and clean the rotor.
Notice
• Please use the dedicated power adapter that comes with the instrument.
• Choose the rotor and rotational speed combination reasonably according to the sample viscosity to ensure that the measurement value is within the range.
• Be careful when installing and removing rotors.
• Make sure the rotor immersion depth is accurate during measurement and keep the sample temperature stable.
• After the measurement is completed, the rotor should be cleaned in time to prevent the sample residue from affecting the subsequent Measurement accuracy.
The instrument should be placed in a stable and non-strong electromagnetic interference environment.
