Principle
The LVDV-2 digital Rotational Viscometer works on the principle of swirl/spin viscosity measurement. The instrument drives the selected rotor to swirl/spin at a uniform speed in the sample, and the Tack resistance to the rotor generates torque. By measuring this torque value, combined with the geometric parameters of the rotor and the Rotation speed, the viscosity value of the sample is calculated internally and directly displayed, and the relevant rheological parameters such as shear stress and shear rate can be calculated.
