Overview

The DONGRU DR210 is a pocket-type Coating thickness gauge with a yellow ABC hard plastic shell with impact resistance and is designed for an all-in-one structure. The instrument is based on the eddy Current thickness measurement principle and can nondestructive and fast measurement of film thickness of nonconductive coatings (such as paints, powders, plastics, etc.) on nonmagnetic metal substrates (such as aluminum, copper, stainless steel). It is equipped with an intelligent digital display LCD screen, which displays measurement data in real time, accurate and stable. The instrument shape is ergonomic and easy to operate.

Principle

The DR210 pocket Coating thickness gauge uses the eddy Current measurement method. This method induces eddy current in a nonmagnetic metal substrate through a high-frequency electromagnetic field generated by Probe. The effect of eddy current is affected by the nonconductive coating thickness on the surface of the substrate. By measuring this effect change, the instrument can nondestructive calculate the film thickness of the coating.
