Overview
LANDTEK Multifunctional Sound Level Meter is a Portable instrument for measurement environment, machinery, traffic, ship and Miscellaneous noise. It is suitable for industrial environmental protection, construction, teaching and research and other fields, with a variety of Measurement modes and data processing functions.
Features
1. Provide A, C, F three Frequency weighting options and fast and slow time weighting options.
2. Measurement parameters Lp (ordinary sound level), Leq (equivalent continuous A sound level), Lmax (maximum sound level) and LN (statistical sound level) are supported.
3. Equipped with DC output function (10 mV/dB).
4. Built-in storage, can save 30 sets of measurement data and measurement status.
5. With alarm value setting, output, automatic/manual shutdown and other functions.
6. Support communication with PC via USB data cable and RS-232 data cable.
7. Optional Bluetooth (Bluetooth ™) data output function.
Principle
The sound level meter picks up the sound signal through the built-in 12.5mm condenser microphone. After the signal is processed by Frequency Weighting (A, C or F) and Time Weighting (fast or slow), it is analyzed and calculated by the circuit inside the instrument. Finally, the measurement results such as Lp, Leq, Lmax or LN are displayed on the display screen. The instrument supports Data storage and communication with computers via wired or wireless means.
Applications
Environment, machinery, traffic, ship noise measurement, industrial environmental protection, construction, teaching and research
Standards
IEC 651.2、ANSI 1.4.2
Steps
1. Install 4 AA batteries or connect an external 6V DC power supply.
2. Select Frequency Weighting (A/C/F) and Time Weighting (Fast/Slow) as required.
3. Select the Measurement mode (Lp, Leq, Lmax or LN) and set the relevant parameters (such as Leq Measurement time).
4. Start the measurement, the instrument will display the sound level data in real time.
5. The measurement data can be stored manually, up to 30 groups can be stored.
6. After measurement, data can be exported to PC via USB, RS-232 or optional Bluetooth.
Notice
Please ensure that the battery is fully charged before use and pay attention to the low voltage prompt.
* Measured objects and environments need to be measured according to select the appropriate weighting method and Measurement parameters.
* The instrument has a built-in 94dB calibrated signal, it is recommended to calibrate regularly to ensure measurement accuracy.
* Optional relay touch point for alarm output, need to be configured on demand.
* Do not use in an environment beyond the instrument Measurement range (such as A weighing 30~ 130dB), so as not to damage the equipment or affect the Measurement accuracy.
* The instrument is precision measurement equipment, please avoid violent impact or contact with corrosion substances.
