Overview
The LANDTEK DT-2859 Rotation speed meter is a multi-function measurement instrument for determining the Rotation speed, linear speed or Frequency of motors. It is widely used in the manufacturing of motors, fans, paper, plastics, chemical fibers, washing machines, automobiles, aircraft, steamships, etc.

One table is multi-purpose, which can be used as a photoelectric Rotation speed meter for non-contact measurement (Rotation speed RPM, period ms, Frequency Hz), and can also be used as a contact Rotation speed meter for contact measurement (Rotation speed RPM, period ms, Frequency Hz), and can also measure linear speed (m/min, ft/min), motion distance (m) and custom circumference motion distance (m).

Principle
The Rotation speed meter collects signals electro-optically or in contact mode and converts them into Rotation speed, linear speed or Frequency parameters. The electro-optic mode uses reflected light for non-contact measurement within the effective distance, and the contact mode acquires data by directly contacting the swirl/spin body with the Sensor. The built-in quartz crystal time base ensures accuracy, automatically switches ranges and processes data in real time.

Steps
1. Select photoelectric or contact mode according to measurement requirements.
2. For photoelectric mode, align the instrument with the swirl/spin body and maintain the effective distance (50~ 250mm).
3. For contact mode, touch the Sensor to the swirl/spin surface.
4. Turn on the power, the instrument automatically measures and displays the results.
5. View the MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum or last value of the memory through the function keys.
6. Optional connection USB or Bluetooth output data to PC.
Notice
* Operating temperature in the range of 0~ 50 ℃.
* When photoelectric measurement, the effective distance is affected by the luminance of the light-emitting tube, and the maximum does not exceed 600mm.
* Avoid damage to the Sensor by excessive pressure during contact measurement.
* Powered by 4 AA batteries, pay attention to replace them in time.
* Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments.
* Keep drying when storing to prevent damage to the shell.
