Overview
The PSC-30 Portable Colorimeter adopts a d/8 measurement geometry and can measure various color space parameters including CIE L * c * h, L * a * b, XYZ, Yxy, etc., as well as color difference and chroma indicators such as Delta E * ab, Delta E94, Delta ECMC (l: c), Delta E00, Metamerism Index MI, whiteness WI, and yellowness YI. The instrument has good measurement stability, fast speed, small and lightweight body, and can accurately measure plane and curved samples. It is suitable for on-site measurement and online detection of various materials such as plastics, coatings, Spinning & weaving, automotive interior parts, and retail metal supplies.

Principle
The PSC-30 Portable Colorimeter is based on d/8 measurement geometry, illuminates the sample with a built-in Illuminant, and receives reflected light. Its Light spectrum range is 400nm-700nm, analyzed at a half-wave width of about 10nm and a wavelength interval of 2nm, converts the optical signal into an electrical signal and calculates the excellence value. The instrument adopts digitalization Gloss control technology, which can simultaneously measure data containing specular reflected light (SCI) and excluding specular reflected light (SCE), and compensate for Illuminant changes in real time through technical monitoring to ensure measurement accuracy.

Steps
1. Make sure the instrument has sufficient power and can be charged through the USB port.
2. After power-on, observe and locate the sample to be tested through a 2.8-inch color LCD screen.
3. Fit the instrument Probe to the surface of the sample being tested (flat or curved).
4. Press the measurement button on the left or right side of the instrument for measurement.
5. After the measurement is completed, the data will be displayed on the screen and can be optionally stored (up to 10,000 sets of data are stored).
6. The measurement data can be transferred via USB, Bluetooth or WiFi interface to a computer or Miscellaneous device for further analysis.
Notice
• Make sure that the instrument Probe fits closely to the tested surface to obtain accurate measurement results.
• Avoid use in extreme temperature or humidity environments, so as not to affect the performance of the instrument.
• Regularly charge the instrument to ensure battery life (each charge can be measured > 2000 times).
When transferring data, ensure that the connection is stable to prevent data loss.
• When cleaning the instrument, please use a soft dry cloth to wipe it and avoid using corrosive cleaners.
Do not expose the instrument to strong light or high temperatures for a long time to avoid damaging the display or internal components.
