Overview
The LANDTEK UT-40 Ultrasonic Transmitter is a Portable inspection device that emits 40KHz ultrasound and works with an ultrasonic leak detector for leak measurement systems. It is suitable for detecting air leaks in a variety of scenarios such as door and window gaskets, seals, roofs, duct ducts, door trunk seals, and windshield Glasses.
Features
1. Frequency 40KHz to ensure detection accuracy
2. Adopt 640KHz crystal time base and divide by 16 Shaker circuit, the signal is stable
3. Portable design, weight only about 50g (including battery), small size
4. Powered by 2 AA batteries, easy to operate
5. Temperature range 0~ 50 ℃, Humidity up to 80% RH, suitable for a variety of environments
Principle
The ultrasonic transmitter generates a 40KHz ultrasonic signal through an internal Shaker circuit, which is obtained by accurately setting the frequency of the 640KHz crystal time base and dividing by 16. The emitted ultrasonic wave changes at the leakage point, and the leakage location can be detected with a leak detector.
Applications
Air leakage around door and window gaskets and seals, roof leakage, duct and pipe identification, door and trunk seals, windshield Glass leakage
Steps
1. Install 2 AA batteries
Step 2 Turn on the ultrasonic transmitter
3. Aim the transmitter at the area to be detected
4. Leak measurement with ultrasonic leak detector
5. Locate the leak point according to the leak detector instructions
Notice
• Do not use in an environment beyond the operating temperature of 0~ 50 ° C or Humidity 80% RH
• Make sure the battery is installed correctly to avoid short circuits
• Keep the transmitter coordinated with the leak detector during use to avoid interference
• Regularly check the battery level to prevent detection interruptions
Store in a drying place to avoid heavy pressure or falling
