Features
1. Manufactured according to ASTM D 2162 standard to ensure reliable manufacturing process specifications
2. Fully traceable to national standards to ensure calibrated accuracy
3. Compatible with a variety of testing equipment, with a wide range of applications
Dual UKAS certification according to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34
5. Provide accurate viscosity values at two temperatures to meet different calibrating needs
Principle
Viscosity calibrating oils are used as reference standards in calibrating viscosity measurement equipment by providing a known and stable viscosity value. When using the Viscometer rotor calibrate, a viscosity value of 14042 mPa · s is provided at 20 ° C and a viscosity value of 9256 mPa · s is provided at 25 ° C; when used in Specific Gravity Cup calibrate, a specific gravity value of 0.888 sg at 20 ° C and a specific gravity value of 0.8852 sg at 25 ° C.
Applications
Viscometer calibrated, Specific Gravity Cup calibrated
Standards
ASTM D 2162, BS EN ISO/IEC 17025, ISO Guide 34
Steps
1. Ensure that the calibrated Ambient Temperature is stable at 20 ° C or 25 ° C
2. Pour viscosity calibrated oil into a clean Viscometer or Specific Gravity Cup
3. Calibrate the procedure according to the Equipment Operation Manual
4. Read and record calibrated results
5. Verify against standard viscosity values
Notice
Make sure the calibrated oil is in the specified temperature environment before use
• Avoid contamination of calibrated oil, and seal it in time after use
• Strictly follow the equipment Operation Manual for calibrating procedures
• Ensure measurement equipment is clean and drying before calibrating
• Pay attention to the difference in viscosity value at different temperatures and choose the correct calibrated value
