Overview
Dutch TQC viscosity calibrate oil DV2209 is a 500ml S600 viscosity calibrate oil manufactured according to ASTM D 2162, fully traceable to national standards and compatible with test equipment. It meets the international standard BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34 dual UKAS certification for viscosity cups, Specific Gravity Cups and Viscometers for calibrating.
Features
Manufactured according to ASTM D 2162 to ensure standardization.
2. Fully traceable to national standards to ensure accuracy.
3. Compatible with a variety of test equipment, including viscosity cup, Specific Gravity Cup and Viscometer.
Dual UKAS certification in accordance with BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34.
5. Provide viscosity calibrated values at different temperatures, such as 20 ° C and 25 ° C.
Principle
Viscosity calibrating oils are used to calibrate viscosity measurement equipment by providing a known viscosity value. Manufactured according to ASTM D 2162 method, ensure that its viscosity value is traceable to national standards, thus verifying the accuracy of the equipment.
Applications
Viscosity cup calibrated, Specific Gravity Cup calibrated, Viscometer calibrated
Standards
ASTM D 2162, BS EN ISO/IEC 17025, ISO Guide 34
Steps
1. Ensure that the calibrated equipment is clean and drying.
2. Pour the viscosity calibrated oil into the equipment.
3. Perform measurements at a specified temperature (e.g. 20 ° C or 25 ° C).
4. Measured values are compared with known viscosity values of calibrated oils.
5. Adjust the device to match the calibrated value.
Notice
• Check whether the calibrated oil is within the valid period before use.
• Avoid contaminating calibrated oil to ensure accuracy.
Operate at the specified temperature to get the correct calibrated result.
• Keep it sealed during storage to prevent volatilization or deterioration.
